Thomas M. DeSantis of White Lake, passed away September 25, 2020 at 75 years of age.
Dear father of Christina (fiancé' Aaron Turner) Anderson, Michael DeSantis and Thomas DeSantis. Proud grandfather of Josh and Nick. Former husband of Lynda DeSantis. Treasured friend of John Kulhabi and Manuel Bartolo. Brother of William and Terry DeSantis. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sister, Diane DeSantis.
Mr. DeSantis was a US Army veteran where he served as a Lieutenant Colonel and helicopter pilot during Vietnam. He loved living on the lake, enjoying sunsets and spending time with his grandchildren.
Funeral services along with military honors will be held at 12:00pm on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00am until the time of service at 12:00pm. Interment will take place at 2:00pm following the service at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
