Ronald D. Kowalski

Ronald D. Kowalski, age 55, of Commerce; passed away on April 2, 2012. Mr. Kowalski was the founder and owner of Premier Refrigeration in Waterford for 31 years. He was a member of the MCA Contractors. His passions included spending time with his family, contributing to the Boy Scouts of America (most recent, Troop 42), camping and woodworking. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 31 years Patricia “Pat” Kowalski; dear sons Anthony Kowalski, Jon Kowalski, Nicholas Kowalski, and Ben Kowalski; siblings Kenneth Kowalski, the late Chuck Kowalski, and Noli Kowalski. Mr. Kowalski was preceded in death by his parents William and Frances Kowalski. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 1955 E. Commerce Road, Milford, MI 48381. The visitation hours will be Monday from 4 until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 1 until 8:00 p.m. with a Scripture Service at 7 p.m. along with family and friends reflection following at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road, Highland. Mr. Kowalski will lie in state at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until Mass; interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield; In lieu of flowers, memorial envelopes will be available at the funeral home for Boy Scouts of America c/o Patricia Kowalski.
