Patricia Jeanne Stretten

Patricia was born on July 2, 1945 in Hillsdale, Michigan to Robert E. and Elizabeth J. (nee Rick) Gregory. She graduated from Hillsdale High School in 1963 and received her Bachelor of Science from Eastern Michigan University in 1968 where she was a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma and Mu Phi Epsilon sororities.

After graduation, she was an elementary teacher for 13 years for Wayne-Westland Community Schools and Whitney Bloomfield Schools. After her teaching career, she worked for Allnet Communications for 11 years and was honored with many customer/productivity awards including winning three trips. In 2012, she retired from Raytheon Professional Services after 15 years of Aftersales Training for General Motors International Product Center.

She is survived by her husband, Ivan J. Stretten, III. Children, Laura (Steve) Losey, Susan (Jim) Niestroy, Ivan, IV (Diann) Stretten and Coleen Stretten. Eight Grandchildren, Matthew Losey, Megan (Ben) Nicol, Morgan Losey, Kendall (Nick) Mermuys, Eric Niestroy, Nathan Niestroy, Ivan Stretten, V and Natalie Stretten. One brother, Michael (Mary Jane) Gregory. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Elizabeth Gregory.

Her happiest times were spent with family and friends, retirement years in Northern Michigan and Florida and in her travels around the world with her beloved husband, Ivan.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the Fountains Golf and Banquet Center, 6060 Maybee Road in the Village of Clarkston 48346 from 2:00pm until 3:00pm, followed by a memorial luncheon from 3:00pm until 5:00pm.
