Joy Caswell Schmittka Brown of Waterford, passed away May 5, 2016 at 58 years of age. Loving mother of Stacy (Kenneth) Davis and Becky (Correy Berilla) Schmittka. Grandmother of Logan Schmittka, Haley Davis, Luccas Davis and Keira Berilla. Sister of Jane (Bob) Whatley, April Crabtree, David (Judy) Caswell, Dennis (Kibby) Caswell, Guy Caswell, and Meri (Ron) Rose. Proceeded in death by her parents Betty and Whoop Caswell, mother-in-law Thelma Schmittka, and her best friend Becky Warner. Also survived by many loved nieces, nephews and friends. Best lifelong friend of Diane Fleming. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at White Lake Presbyterian Church, 4805 Highland Road in White Lake. The family will receive friends Monday from 5-9 pm at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road and Tuesday at the church from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am.
