Joseph H. Waldron Jr., age 81, of South Lyon and formerly of Highland and Garden City, passed away, February 19, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Patricia J. Waldron for 55 years. Loving father of Shelley Raymond, Sandie (Guy) Wardell, Sharon (Larry) Waldron-Sullenger, Michael Waldron (Melissa Lorencen-Waldron), Merrill Waldron and Matthew (Kristin) Waldron. Proud grandfather of Bethany (Jacob) King, Leanne (Benjamin) Robinson, Marcee Wardell, Max Wardell, Zoe Sullenger, Thor Wardell, Samantha Wardell, Marcellus Waldron, CJ Waldron, Kiley Waldron and Logan Waldron. Treasured great-grandfather of Aiden Louis King, Annabell King, Arwynn King and Ilamay Robinson. Dear brother of William (Dee) Waldron, the late James (the late Anita) Waldron, Thomas (the late Janice) Waldron, Dorothy (the late Chester) Amman and the late Edward (the late Peggy) Waldron. Visitation will be held Friday, February 23 from 2:00pm until 8:00pm at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road, Highland. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 4:30pm (In State 3:30pm) at Highland United Methodist Church, 680 W. Livingston Road, Highland. Inurnment at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Highland United Methodist Church or Wounded Warrior Project.
