James R. Gorman, age 77, of Highland Township, passed away April 26, 2017. Beloved husband of Linda. Loving father of James P. (Dana), Barret (Tracy), Steven (Sarah) and Sean and step-father of Kenneth (Linda) McKee and Kathryn McKee. Treasured grandfather of Emma, Brady, Phillip, Lilly, Katie, Cooper, Ashleigh, Jack and Cameron. Cherished brother of Dorothy Lynch and brother-in-law of Jackie Faulkner. Dear uncle of William (Bradley) Schrader. James was preceded in passing by his parents, James E. and Dorothy Gorman and his siblings, Nancy Metzger and Paul Gorman. Memorial Visitation will be held Sunday, April 30, 2017 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm (Rosary 6:00pm) at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road, Highland. Memorial Mass will be held Monday, May 1, 2017 at 11:00am (Gathering 10:00am) at Church of the Holy Spirit, 3700 Harvey Lake Road, Highland. Inurnment will be held Monday, May 1, 2017 at 2:00pm at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly. Memorial contributions can be made to Church of the Holy Spirit.
