Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to the Holmwood Family, Jeff has always been there for me with his smile and helping hand with pumpkins,cornstalks, vegetables,flowers and sunflower seeds for the birds. Mr. Holmwood was a kind and generous man who had an amazing life.  He was a warmhearted person that always had a smile for everyone.  He is in many of my childhood memories and will always be Mr. Holmwood, never Geoff.   This is a time to celebrate his life and mourn his death.  He never wanted to see people unhappy.  So, at this moment, I choose to look back and remember how he touched my life.  Mr. Holmwood will be forever missed.  To his family; I am sorry for your loss and wish you only the fondest memories of this much loved man.

Deepest sympathy to the Holmwood family. We here in Suffolk, England were priviledged to know Geoff when he was stationed in Suffolk during World War 2. He became a great friend of the Brunning family and came to stay with us at that time and after he returned to the States at the end of the war.  He was a great friend and a gentle person and we will miss his regular telephone calls as he was unable to visit us in person.

Our deepest sympathy to the Holmwood family. The memories we will charish of picking pumpkins from his garden, getting corn stalks and getting corn by the dozens from his stand, along with the conversations and stories will always be remembered. You will be missed by us, our children and our grandchildren. Rest in Peace our dear friend.

As a neighbor & friend he will be deeply missed. We have been buying his farm goods for over 20 years - my children & I will miss his fresh, delicious corn this summer - there was nothing like it!  What a wonderful man - active until the very end.  Our street & neighborhood will not be the same without 'Farmer Geoff'.  Thanks for the memories & God Bless you.  Rest in peace. What a blessing you have been for many years at the Pontiac Farmer's Market.  I am  78 and I remember going to the market every Saturday with my mother.  She loved his strawberries.  I have canned his sweet corn for many years as do my son and daughter now as well. It's the best around.  I know I will feel vibrations every time I pass that stall.
Thanks for being there.  You will be sorely missed.

My dad and Geoff were pioneers in  Automated and Advanced Commercial Egg Production. Geoff never refused a request from my Dad for help as Dad was an Immigrant, as was Geoff, and I believe he shared a kinship with us. I remember baling Hay for him once with my New Baler  I just purchased, and Geoff gave me my first  Paid Job, He paid me on the spot ! Deb and I will miss his kind words and wisdom that he easily and willingly Shared. May God Bless your family in this tough time. My own daddy farmed until he was 89 and I was blessed to see Mr. Holmwood at market this summer.  I looked forward to seeing him for many year's and his stall will alway's be a happy memory for me.  God Bless.

Cousin Geoff will always hold a very special place in my heart.  Some of my fondest childhood memories are times spent at the farm running through the cornfields and playing in the barn, and especially the summer I worked at Geoff's Farmers Market stand.  Much love and sympathy to Jan, David, Gail and Jean. Geoff will be greatly missed, but his memory will live on forever in those whose lives he touched.

Such a tremendous wealth of goodness, grace, factoids, charm and generousity has now been left void by the passing of this dear soul and friend. We will miss seeing Geoff at the Pontiac Farmer's Market where we bought his hand-made reindeer and Christmas wreaths and swags as well as grave blankets he made for our parents.
