Uncle Frank you are my God Father. When I was around 11 or 12, and my dad was in the hospital and they thought he might not make it so Mom dressed me up in her girdle, hose, and shoes and let me walk into the hospital as it no one would notice ?????). Driving there Uncle Frank got Mom talking about how Jan and I were acting and she much of said we were like animals or something (it was me more that Jan I confess) that he stopped the car turned around and shook his finger at me while he read me the riot act. It must be in the gene's, cause I sure thought it was my Dad talking at me. All the Stephanic's are missing you now. I love and miss you Uncle Frank, your God Daughter Judi xx

On behalf of the Plachta/Carr Family, we are all so sorry to hear the loss of your Dad, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and friend. We all have fond memories growing up and a lot of that was contributed to your dad.  He was such a kind and wonderful person and we were all lucky to have known him. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Uncle Frank, you were a true son of the "Greatest Generation." The loss of each one of you is a loss to us all - but the world is so much better for your sacrifices and achievements. I echo the thoughts of my cousin Lisa to my cousins, Mark, Diane, Donald, and Jeanne: "Uncle Frank had a full and wonderful life with a large wonderful family." You're in the thoughts of your family in Canada (myself and my son and daughter, Devin and Bridget) at this time. My mother (Uncle Frank's older sister, Rita) is very sad but so grateful that he had a peaceful passing and was blessed with the love and support of Aunt Pat and all of you for so many years of his long life.

I am so sincerely sorry for the loss of Uncle Frank. He came to see my Dad in the hospital before he died. I appreciated that very much! So sad, but don't let grief drown you as Uncle Frank wouldn't want that and he had a full and wonderful life with a large wonderful family! My thoughts and prayers of peace are with all of you! I had the honor and pleasure of being able to be Frank's Occupational Therapist for a few months and then continue to see him on a private basis.  I came to know a gentle and loving man.  He was easy to befriend and we would exchange some Polish phrases and greetings, as well as Polish traditions.  Frank was a man with a good heart.  He loved his family and it was such a privilege to share this short time with him and his family.  It is a precious gift to have this kind of love and family.  One time when I was working on Frank, he asked me; "Do you have peace and tranquility?"  I responded "Yes".   I returned the question to him and he said "Yes I do"
