Douglas A. Conklin

Douglas A. Conklin, age 67, of White Lake; passed away peacefully at home on October 16, 2010. Mr. Conklin retired from General Motors and proudly served in the United States Army. Former husband of Susan Mitchell and Denise Bertram; loving father of Stephanie Dunn, Joel Conklin, Kristen Conklin, and the late Tony Conklin; loving step-father of Beverly Clancy, Bob Clancy, Katie Clancy; proud grandfather of Bryant, Andrew, Austin; caring brother of David Conklin and the late Don Conklin; along with many beloved relatives and friends. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, October 20, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road, Highland. The visitation hours will be on Tuesday from 2 – 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service; interment at Ottawa Park Cemetery, Clarkston; Memorial envelopes will be available at the funeral home for donor’s choice.
