Born to Sharon and Kirk Redner in Detroit, Casey was a vibrant spirit whose love for life was evident to all who knew him.
A proud graduate of Lakeland High School, Casey excelled in both varsity golf and hockey, sports that ignited his lifelong passion for physical fitness and competition. He earned his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from Michigan State University, where his dedication to wellness and athleticism flourished.
Casey built a successful career in the sales of marine equipment, aligning his work with his love for the outdoors. He found joy in being under the sun, whether on the water boating, golfing with friends, or enjoying a day of disc golf. His love for hockey began at the age of 4, and he continued to play throughout his time in college.
Those who knew Casey remember him for his compassion, kindness, and unwavering consideration for others. His excellent sense of humor brought laughter and warmth to every gathering, leaving a lasting impression on family and friends alike.
Casey is preceded in death by his grandparents Frank and Jessie Redner and Pat and John Camarata. He is survived by his loving parents, Sharon and Kirk Redner; siblings Nick Redner and Duncan Redner; aunts and uncles Barry (Wendy) Redner, Joe DeLisa, and Sandra (Mark) Hittle; as well as his numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation for Casey will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, located at 3295 E Highland Rd, Highland, MI 48356. A funeral service will be held the following day, Friday October 4, 2024 with visiting hour from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM at the same location.
