Burl Gray Jr., age 77, of Highland Township, Michigan, was born July 23, 1945 in Barnyard, Kentucky, and passed away January 25, 2023 at his home. Beloved husband of Rita Ann (Robertson) Gray. Loving father of Clara Gray Peace (Jesse Marsee), Angela (Tim) Engle, and Burl Keith (Raegina) Gray. Proud grandfather of Wade, Calvin, Monica, Alyssa, Caleb, Kaden, and Keiara. Treasured great-grandfather of Gracie, Justice, Emmy, Hunter, Mason, Liam, and Paisley. Dear brother-in-law of Pam Hubbard. Burl was preceded in passing by his parents, William Hubbard and Irene (Gray) Hubbard; his brothers, Ernest (Lena) Gray, Bill Hubbard, and Ed (Wanda) Hubbard; his sisters, Mary, Cleo, Sue, Mae, and Amanda Jo; and his grandson, Koree Peace. Burl will be missed by numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held Sunday, January 29, 2023 from 2:00pm until 7:00pm and Monday, January 30, 2023 from 11:00am until the time of the Funeral Service at 12:00pm at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road, Highland. Pastor Steve Kazer to officiate. Burial with Military Honors at Highland Cemetery.
