Roberta Lynn Spencer (nee Cook), age 58, of Griffith, IN passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014. Roberta is survived by her husband, Rick; one son, Robert (Windy) Spencer of Illinois; three daughters: Jackie (Glen) Spicer of Calumet Township, Tina (Mike) Huffman of Ohio, and Jenny Conaway of Ohio; thirteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; father Vernon Cook of Pennsylvania; one brother, Ray (Sandy) Cook of Pennsylvania; one sister Marsha (Punkin) Leonard of Pennsylvania. Roberta was preceded in death by her mother Ramona (nee Neely) Cook.
Roberta’s family will hold a Celebration of Life in her memory at The Patio (7706 Broadway Street, Merrillville, IN 46410) on Friday October 24th from 5-9 PM. Memorials may be given in Roberta’s memory to Hospice of the Calumet Area. Kuiper Funeral Home (219-923-7800) entrusted with arrangements.
