Robert "Bob" Dykstra, age 59, of Hobart, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.
Bob is the loving son to Ken and Ena Dykstra; beloved brother to Dave Dykstra, Susan (Jeremy) Woodle, and Sheryl Dykstra; cherished uncle to Josh Dykstra, Carla (Steve) Ruisard, Nate Dykstra, Hannah Dykstra, Katie Dykstra; great-uncle to three.
After obtaining his degree at DeVry University, he was a medical technician at University of Chicago Hospital. Bob was known for enjoying his own company and his dogs. He later embarked doing what he enjoyed and became a long distance truck driver. Bob was a talented woodworker, recently constructing a grandfather clock.
Private family services will be conducted at a later date.
