Mary Ann Rivich, age 66, of Griffith, passed away November 6, 2010. She is survived by her husband, Paul; two daughters: Angie (Richard) Granter and Kimberly Helfen; one son, Paul Rivich II, all of Griffith; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one brother, Roy R. Runyan, Jr. of Griffith. Preceded in death by her parents: Roy and Genivieve Runyan; son-in-law, Michael Helfen; and sister-in-law, Nancy Runyan. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Griffith Lutheran Church with Rev. Andrew Bailey officiating. Burial at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Schererville. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 from 3;00-8:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road), Highland. Mrs. Rivich was a member of Griffith Lutheran Church. She was an avid bowler. Donations may be made to Hospice of the Calumet Area.
