Ida (nee Van Dokkumburg) Bush age 94 of Highland passed away Thursday February 21, 2013. She is survived by children Richard Bush of Highland, Sandra Bush of MI, Linda (Dennis) Zarnik of NC; son in law Steve Miko of Alaska; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sister Wilma Mulder of MI; brothers Webb (Ruthmary) Van Dokkumburg of NC and Stan (Mary) Dokkumburg of MI. Ida was preceded in death by husband Henry; daughter Deborah Miko
Funeral services will be held at New Life Christian Reformed Church on Monday February 25 at 10 AM and officiated by Reverend William Sytsma. Burial will be at Hope Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road Highland on Sunday February 24 from 3-7 PM.
Ida was a charter member of New Life Christian Reformed Church. She retired from School Town of Highland as a food service director after 32 years. Memorials may be made to Highland Christian or Illiana Christian Schools
