Gwen J. Waller Prohl

Gwen J. Prohl (nee Waller), age 82, of Highland, IN passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Ron) Skopelja of Schererville, IN; two sons: David (Kristin) Prohl of Crown Point, IN and Daniel Prohl of Dyer, IN; ten grandchildren: Melissa (Nick) DeSutter of Colorado Springs, CO, Megan (Tim) O'Shea of Chicago, IL, Patrick (Gabriel) Prohl of Oklahoma; Kevin, Andrew, Tony, and Emma Prohl of Crown Point, IN; three great grandchildren: Hunter, Caleb and Clarissa Prohl; and sister, Fleur (Gene) Hickman of Monticello, IN. Mrs. Prohl was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. DIRECTLY at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 9009 Kennedy Ave., Highland, IN with Rev. Eric Kleinschmidt officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family Tuesday, July 16, 2013 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN.
