Eugene J. Britton age 83 of Griffith, IN passed away December 14,2013;he is survived by his wife Donna, three sons Greg Britton, Hobart, IN, Dan( Jackie) Britton, of Schererville, IN, Flip Britton of Calumet Township, IN, two daughters Jeanmarie (Ken) Novath of Calumet Township, IN, Cheryl (Frank) Dispenva of Geneva, Il; 13 grandchildren, 13great-grandchildren, two brothers Harold (Marge) Britton of Chicago, Il, Tom (Tina) Britton, of Indiana, one sister Mary (Mark) Abler of MI, preceded in death by one sister Betty Britton. Funeral services will be held Friday December 20,2013 9:0 am at Kuiper Funeral Home 9039 Kleinman Rd( two blocks south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN; Rev Theodore Mens officiating, burial Chapel Lawn Cemetery, friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 4 to 8 pm (with a 7:30 pm prayer service) at the funeral home. Eugene was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Griffith, IN; he was retired from LTV Steel after 47 years, and a member of 25 years club
