Emily A. Joy

EMILY JOY Emily Joy passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at the age of 76. She was born to the late Amedio and Piernia (Lalongo) Cappello from the East Side of Chicago. She is survived by her sister, Pauline (late Bill) Lebeter; beloved wife of the late James W. Joy; a loving mother to the late James (Eileen) Joy, Kathi (Ken) Angotti, Dan (Gail) Joy, Sheila (Joe) Windsor. Emily was the cherished Granma to Joseph, Kennith, Monica, Mari, Frankie, Alec, Jessica, Jordan, Nina, Falon, and Hailey. She is survived by her sisters-in-law: Shirley (Joe) Galecke and Theresa Smith. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Emily was a lifelong fan of the Cubs, Green Bay Packers, and Blackhawks, and enjoyed watching her many grandchildren participate in their respective sports. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 23, 2012; 9:00 AM at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Rd.), Highland, IN with Rev. Theodore Mens officiating. Burial St. Mary Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, March 22, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
