Donald Gene Wilson

Donald Gene Wilson, age 89, of Merrillville, Indiana passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rhoda; parents, Herman and Opal; and his brother, Dale. Don is survived by his children, Terri O'Brien and Todd Wilson; step-children, Ellen, Paul, Phil, and Grant Butler; siblings, Shirley Perry and Bill Wilson; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Don had a life-long love of gardening that stemmed from his childhood on the family farm in Monroe City, IN. He was a respected business owner and certified public accountant in the Chicago and Northern Indiana region. A committal service at graveside will take place on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Petersburg, IN.
