Donald R. Jeffries Sr., age 82, of Highland, IN passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Karen Jeffries (nee Miller); five children: Barbara (Thomas) Whitney, Debra (Gene Ciesielski) Provo, Don Jeffries Jr., Jennifer (Laurance) Draves and Katie (Kevin) Keele; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; three brothers: Kenneth (Barbara) Jeffries, Lawrence (Kay) Jefferies and Paul (Peggy) Jeffries; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Jeffries was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Donna Jeffries; two brothers: Jim and David Jeffries; and sister, Ruth Rodgers. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 19, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN with Dan Nichols, Minister officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Gary, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home.
