Carl J. Johnson

Carl J. Johnson, age 90, of Highland, Indiana passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 18, 2023. Carl is the loving husband to the late Glenda Johnson; devoted father to Randy Johnson of Highland and Lisa Guffey of Highland; stepfather to Brian (Shelray) Aube of Morrow, Ohio; proud grandfather to Randy (Emily) Johnson Jr., Jacob (Heather) Johnson, Skylar Guffey, Kyra Guffey, Nick Aube, Elizabeth Aube and Grace Aube; great-grandfather to Bennett and Lincoln Johnson, Greycen, Jaxen and Remingten Johnson; cherished brother to the late Gerald (Betty) Penney and Pamela (Ron) Maxwell; Uncle to Susannah and Christina. Carl honorably served in the United States Army. He retired as a mechanical engineer from Ogden Engineering after 42 years of dedicated service. He and his wife enjoyed traveling. He was also an animal lover especially his loving pets over the years. Visitation will be Monday, May 22, 2023 from 3:00-6:00 pm with his funeral services being conducted at 6:00 pm at Kuiper Funeral Home. Private family burial will take place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
