Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Ignacz and Louise Nowak; sisters Wanda Nance, Eleanor Olejniczak; and brothers Richard and Stanley Nowak.
She is survived by her nieces, Karen Bruns, Linda Solich, and Alice Herald.
Alice loved her dog Herbie and her cat Sachie. She took care of her family for the majority of her life and her effort and love was greatly appreciated. Alice loved to cook and spend time in her garden. Her loving and compassionate life will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 27, 2023, from 2:00 - 6:00 PM, at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN 46322. Mass will take place on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 10:00 AM with visitation at 9:00 AM, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 3802 Grand Blvd, East Chicago, IN 46312.
