Timothy James Langham, age 41, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 4, 2022.

Tim was born May 25, 1981, a son of Jim and Marti Langham. He graduated from Southwest Guilford High School in 1999. Tim then joined the U.S. Army and served three tours in Iraq. He was an avid reader and always had a book in his hand. Tim loved Egypt, archeology and astronomy and knew all the constellations. He also attended GTCC to further his knowledge. He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Langham; his grandparents, Arvel and Jessie Langham and Zeke and Greta Cox.

Surviving are his mother, Marti Langham; a sister, Katie Gwaltney (Chris); three brothers, David Langham (Jessie), Chad Langham and Pastor Chris Langham (Renee); aunts, uncles, a niece, five nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Tim's life will be held Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the Sechrest-Davis Chapel by Pastor Chris Langham. The family will receive friends following the service. Please plant a tree in Tim's honor or make a donation to a charity of the donor's choice.
