Ruth Virginia Harvey

Mrs. Harvey was born September 12, 1921 in Waxhaw, NC to Reverend D. C. and Emma Johnson Ballard. She graduated from Ball Creek High School and worked as office manager for a dentist for many years.

Mrs. Harvey was a member of the Trinity Heights Wesleyan Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Clarence “C.V.” Harvey, a sister; Robertta Jackson, and brothers: Calvin and Dorus Ballard.

Surviving are a nephew; Richard Ballard of Florida, a niece; Wanda Franklin of Georgia; and her caregiver; Bobby Johnson and wife Alice of High Point and several other nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in Trinity Heights Wesleyan Church with the Reverend Crawford Crenshaw officiating. Interment will follow the service in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 until 2:00 pm prior to the funeral.
