Reva Jean Owens

Reva was born in Surgoinsville, TN, November 12, 1943, a daughter of the late Charlie Clint Anderson and Linda Jane Collins Anderson. She lived most of her life in the High Point/ Archdale area and retired from Old Dominion after 28 years of service. Reva enjoyed singing gospel hymns with God's Grace Singers at area churches and nursing homes. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Allendale Baptist Church. Reva was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Lee Owens and seven siblings.

Surviving are four sons, Carl Lee Owens, Jr., Jerold Owens (Mary Alice), Jeffrey Owens (Teresa) and Randy Clinton Owens (Dorothy); two grandchildren, Heather Owens Mahek and Matthew Owens; a sister, Nellie Owens; a brother, Clinton Anderson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Reva's life will be held Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at 2 p.m. in the Sechrest-Davis Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor David Younger. Entombment will follow in Floral Garden Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the GrayBrier Nursing and Rehab Center.
