Phillip Robert Tucker

Phillip Robert Tucker, age 84, of Thomasville, North Carolina passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024. He was born in Guilford County, NC on January 24, 1940 to John Robert Tucker and Annie Farrington Tucker.

Phillip was an avid pickleball player. He retired from the Guilford County Schools after serving as a janitor. He was a longtime member of Southgate Baptist Church in Thomasville.

He is survived by two sons, Phillip Curtis Tucker and wife Rachel, Stephen Tucker and wife Charlie; one brother, Larry Tucker and wife Violet; one sister, Nancy Ruth Bondurant; grandchildren, Justin Tucker, Brittany Hawkins, Blake Tucker, Alexander Poole, Christopher Tucker, Victoria Edwards, Patricia Edwards, Anthony Edwards and wife Heidi, Amber Morales; great-grandchildren, Tucker, Ayden, Mia, Autumn, Raylynn, Ava, Nova, Carly, Chloe, David and Christian.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Marie Tucker in 2023; brother, John Robert Tucker, Jr. and sister Mae Tucker Ward.

A graveside service for Phillip will be held Friday, July 12, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery, 1730 West English Road, High Point, North Carolina 27262.
