Peggy Pauline Meadows Martin, affectionately known as grandma “piggy”, 88 passed away after several years of declining health. She was born in Virginia to the late Buferd Waldo Meadows and Myrtle Mae Clark. Peggy was a secretary for the court system of Forsyth County. She is preceded in the death by her husband Carl Martin in 1968.
Peggy is survived by two daughters, Debbie Sink and husband Tony of Thomasville, Connie Martin and husband John Bishop, one sister Dorothy Stanley of Winston-Salem, one brother Thomas Meadows and wife Dale of Winston-Salem, two grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be on Saturday, December 21, 2013, 10:00 am at Sechrest Funeral Chapel in High Point. Burial will follow at Floral Garden Memorial Park. There will be a visitation on Friday, December 20, 2013, 6-7:30pm at Sechrest Funeral Service in High Point.
