Nancy May Barnett Wallace

Nancy was born in Dublin, VA. , April 2, 1929 to William Wayne Barnett and Mattie Stoots Barnett.

On December 24, 1953 she married Lawrence Edward Wallace who preceded her in death August 9, 1983.

Nancy was a resident of High Point for 60 years where she was a house wife and stay at home Mother.

Nancy was a member of the Church of God in High Point. She was a caregiving Mother and grandparent. Nancy was always putting God and family first throughout her entire life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mattie Barnett, also husband Lawrence Wallace, and two brothers. She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Welborn of Archdale and Debra Nash and husband Harold of High Point. One son Pete Wallace and wife Donna of High Point. Also surviving, four sisters, one brother, nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 11, 2015, at Sechrest Funeral Service in High Point. Interment will follow at Floral Garden Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation Saturday evening, May 9, 2015, at the funeral home, from 6 to 8 pm.

The family asked donations be made to Hinkle Hospice Home in lieu of flowers.
