Max was born in Guilford County, July 20, 1966, the son of Maxie Ray Kennedy and Barbara Hunt Kennedy. He graduated from Ledford High School and then worked with Ilderton Dodge and Thomas Bus for several years. Max then relocated to Indian Trail and was employed by M & M Technology. He enjoyed fishing, lawn mower repair, bartering and trading. Max was a die-hard Hot Wheel and diecast collector. He enjoyed spending time with his family and active in the Scout's with his grandson. Max was preceded in death by his father.
Surviving are his significant other, Diana Stewart; his mother, Barbara Kennedy; a sister, Becky Slawter (Jody); a step-son, Adam Galindo; a grandson, Julian Galindo and a niece, Tera Slawter.
A Celebration of Max's life will be held Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 2 p.m. at the Sechrest-Davis Funeral Chapel, 976 Phillips Ave., High Point by the Rev. John Stein. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Sechrest-Davis Funeral Home Wednesday from 7 until 9 p.m.
