Matthew Ray Proctor

Matt was born in High Point, NC, October 15, 1976, a son of Grant and Randy Lones Proctor. He graduated from High Point Central High School and attended UNC Chapel Hill. Matt owned and operated Yourway Computing his entire life. He was a faithful member of Journey Church of the Triad, was a avid Tar Heel fan and was a loving father and son. He was preceded in death by his father and older brother, Phil Proctor.

Surviving his mother, Randy Proctor; four children, Hannah Proctor, Matthew Proctor II, Ethan Proctor and Atlas Burchett; a sister, Carolyn Cox; a brother, Fred Proctor (Linda) and many other cherished loved ones.

A Celebration of Matt's life will be held Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 2 p.m. in the Sechrest-Davis Funeral Chapel by Pastor Alan Cox. Burial will follow in Zion Church, Thomasville, NC. The family will receive at the funeral home Tuesday from 1 until 2 p.m.
