Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Mickey

Mary Frances Mickey, 83, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020 following a brief illness.

Mary Frances was born in Martinsville, VA, November 10, 1937, a daughter of the late George and Carrie Farrington Muse. She and her husband Joe Mickey, Sr. owned and operated Joe's Catering for many years. Mary Frances was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She was loved by everyone she met. She will be greatly missed, we love her forever and always. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Mickey, Sr.; a son, Von Foster; two brothers, Junior Muse and Lester Breedlove; and a grandson, Chad Yates.

Surviving are two sons, Joe Mickey, Jr. and Ronnie Mickey; five daughters, Teresa Martin, Donna Johnson, Diane Yates, Joan Smith and JoAnn Banks and her husband Dwight; twelve grandchildren, Summer Mickey, Hayley Johnson, Rodney Johnson and wife Tiffany, Brandon Martin and wife Brittney, Tyler Martin, Emily Mickey, Erica Farris, Brad Smith, Trey Foster and wife Lindsey, Sam Banks, Lacy Banks, and Kameron Anderson; fourteen great-grandchildren.

Private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
