Linda Clark O'Connor, age 72, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022 as a result of an automobile accident on July 3, 2022. She was surrounded by a wonderful team of nurses at Moses Cone Hospital, and her son, who sang her favorite song, "The Prayer," as she prepared to meet our Lord.
Linda was born in Randolph County, July 14, 1950, a daughter of the late Kermit and Mozelle Lambeth Clark. She attended Appalachian State University and with her husband, Steve, operated O'Connor Blossom Shop for many years. Linda enjoyed trips to the beach and shopping. She was a faithful member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Linda's love for her son, Andrew, showed no limits. She supported his musical endeavors and often took him to choir rehearsals in Greensboro before he could drive himself. His love of music blossomed and this wouldn't have happened without his mother and father's support.
Surviving are her husband of 39 years, Steve O'Connor and a son, Andrew O'Connor.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 1, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church by Father Tom Norris, O.S.F.S. A reception will follow at 12 noon at the church.
