Airman First Class Kayla Ann Leach, 21, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017 after injuries from a motorcycle accident. A1C Leach enlisted in the Air Force December 8, 2015. She was currently stationed at Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota, where she was a Facilities Maintenance Section Technician in the 91st Missile Maintenance Squadron.
Airman Leach was born November 27, 1995 and raised in High Point, North Carolina, where she graduated Ledford Senior High School. Kayla is survived by her loving mother, Amy Leach, of High Point; her sister, Kelsey Leach of High Point; her grandparents, Charlie and Deborah Hill of High Point and Robert and Marie Leach of Winston Salem; her uncle and aunt, Marcus and Jennifer Shelton of Summerfield.
