Mr. James Carroll Mosteller, age 66, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning at his residence.
A lifelong resident of Guilford County, Carroll was born February 11th, 1948 in High Point a son to the late Carlton and Mary Edwards Mosteller. He was a graduate of High Point Central High School and was a veteran of the US Army, having served two tours in Vietnam. He was forced to retire in 1993, due to an injury, from W.F. Altopohl Company, where he had worked as a welder. He had been previously employed by Creative Wire and Tubing. He enjoyed working on cars and showing his beloved Chevy Camaro. On June 1st, 1974 he married the former Betsy Auman who survives of the home.
Also surviving is his son, Carl Mosteller and his wife Brooke of Clemmons.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday in the Sechrest Chapel with Reverend John Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm tonight at the funeral home.
