Harold C. Leach, 93, died September 5, 2013 at home in High Point, NC. He never wanted to live anywhere else and until now, he hasn’t. He never wanted to be anyone else, and had no envy except for the generous achievements of Nido Qubein. His motto: Goooo Nido!!!!
Harold was born in Louisburg, NC on April 21, 1920, one of four close-knit siblings: Lewis, Maxine, Harold and Dorothy. Parents Clark and Illa later parted but the family simply expanded to welcome stepfather John Martin.
Claiming all rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, Harold Leach reveled in joys of his own family: his high school sweetheart then wife, Kathryn Allen Leach, son Hal and daughter-in-law Debbie and grandson HCL 3, daughter Mary Kay Hocking, and flock of friends, dearly beloved.
Always held closely in high regard (just ahead of Nido) were Dot Coggin and the late Thayer Coggin, both friends and employers.
A service will celebrate memories of Harold on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 3:00 PM in the Holy Family Chapel of the First United Methodist Church at 512 North Main St, High Point.
Please share a memory and offer condolences with the family at their website www.sechrestfunerals.com.
