Dorothy Ruth Davis Reedy (Dot) , 74, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 28th 2017. She was born to the late Hubert and Mae Davis in Athens, Tennessee on November 27th 1942. Dorothy was a devoted Christian and a member of North Pointe Church. She retired from Slane Hosiery and was also a wonderful mother, grandmother, and sister. Dorothy is survived by her children, Patricia Spivey (Melvin), Ronda Locklear(Tommy) and Doug Cline. She is also survived by her brothers Roy Davis and Wayne Davis of Tennessee. Lastly, she is survived by her nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Estill Ray Reedy.
A visitation will be held for Dorothy on Tuesday May 2, 2017 at 6-8pm at Sechrest Funeral Service in High Point. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday May 3, 2017 at 11 am at Sechrest Funeral Service in High Point with Pastor Darrell Greene officiating. Burial will follow funeral services at Floral Garden Memorial Park in High Point.
