He was a graduate of Campbell University where he achieved a degree in business, which he also spent a career of over 30 years excelling in.
David was a passionate and devout follower of Christ. He led his family lovingly with his faith and humility. He woke up every day of his life to provide and live for his family in every aspect. He was a kindhearted and caring man who was loved and cherished by his family and those who truly knew him.
Throughout his life he enjoyed spending time with his family, target shooting, going to the beach, and going fishing.
His wife of 38 years, Tracy Bass Holley; two sons, Christian Holley and Veronica, Jason Holley and Christina; his mother, Dao Thi Le; two brothers, Robert Holley and wife Yen, John Holley and wife Candi; sister-in-law, Robin Bodenheimer and husband David; nephews, Dylan Bodenheimer and Cortney, Sam Holley, and Oscar Holley; nieces, Sara Holley, Mira Holley, and Emy Holley; Special Aunt Mary Jo Hubble, and Cousin Melissa Holley Hamblett survive David. In addition to his father, his brother, Jimmy Holley, preceded him in death.
A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Sechrest-Davis Funerals and Cremations, 976 Phillips Avenue, High Point, NC 27262 on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 12:00 pm. The family will greet friends following the service.
In addition to flowers, memorials may be made to Cancer Research Institute In Memory of David Holley.
