Mr. Coy Junior Thomas

Coy was born in Smyth County, Virginia, September 27, 1945. He was a master carpenter with Burton Builders for forty two years. Coy attended Full Gospel Miracle Ministries.

Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Sandra C. Thomas; two daughters, Betsy Morgan and husband Stanley and Mary Kay Barnes and husband Lee; a son, Vern Thomas and wife Lisa; eight grandchildren, Matthew, Adam and Jared Barnes, Randy Jennings, Caleb and Joshua Thomas; Noah Morgan and Kayla Wooten; a sister, Helen Shumate.

A Celebration of Coy’s Life will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Davis Funerals and Cremations Chapel by Pastor Stan Savage and Pastor Riley Puckett. Entombment will follow in Floral Garden Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 6 until 8 p.m. and at other times the home of Mary Kay and Lee Barnes.
