Clara Ridge Randall

Clara Ridge Randall 99 passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Riverlanding at Sandy Ridge. Clara was born in Randolph County, August 11, 1915 to the late Benjamin Franklin Ridge and Victoria McDowell Ridge, and step mother Lillie Tysinger Ridge. She was a homemaker and caregiver to her aunt Mrs. Louetta Harris. Clara was the oldest member of High Point Friends Meeting where she was a member of the Alice Paige White Sunday School Class. Clara was married on December 19, 1932 to J. M. Randall Jr. who preceded her in death on November 8, 1986.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by three brother and two sisters.

She is survived by a daughter, Billie Sue Jones of Riverlanding, a grandson Michael Jones and wife Mary Jones of Lexington, NC and a sister Grace Ward and husband Elmer of Skeet Club Manor, and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank all the staff in Pebble Beach 2and everyone that cared for her. We would also like to thank all the people at the nursing facility, they treated me and my mother like family.

Funeral services will be on Friday, January 9, 2015, 11:00am at Sechrest Funeral Chapel in High Point, officiated by Rev. Nancy Williams-Berry and Kelly Kellum. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Home at High Point or your choice.
