Sissy was born in High Point, June 10, 1964, a daughter of Ben and Betty Jo Dockery. Sissy was a loving, caring, special angel who only knew love, happiness and joy. Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Sissy couldn’t help but fall totally and completely in love with her kindhearted and loving spirit. She was preceded in death by her father, Ben Dockery.
Surviving are her mother, Betty Jo Dockery; sister, Jolie Williams-Brown and husband James; a brother, Cameron Dockery and wife Lisa; three nieces, Amber Dockery, Katie Dockery and Taylor Williams and fiancé Scotty Phagan; a nephew, Brandon Dockery and wife Kelly; a great-niece, Brantley Reece Phagan; two great nephews, David Benjamin Dockery and Abram Garrett Dockery.
A Celebration of Sissy’s Life will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the Davis Funerals & Cremations Chapel, 976 Phillips Ave, High Point by her brother, Pastor Cameron Dockery. Burial will follow in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 7 until 9 p.m. Memorials may be directed to R. H.
