Charles “Charlie” Salters, 78, passed away Monday, April 3, 2017 at the Meridian Center following several years of declining health. Charlie was born in High Point, January 19, 1939, a son of the late Larkey and Lena Euler Salters. He was an Army veteran and was a faithful member of New Covenant Church of God. Charlie retired from Golden State Foods after many years of service. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Upchurch and his beloved companion, Pickle. Surviving are a brother, Bill Salters and wife DeAnna; two nieces, Diane Hudson and husband Joel and Ramona Mosley and husband Ricky; and three great-nieces and a great-nephew. A graveside service will be held Friday at 12 noon in Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery by Pastor Riley Puckett.
