She was born on October 27, 1956 in Wilson County, North Carolina to Eugene and Pandora Foster. She was the second of five children. She attended Wilson Fike High School and Wilson Technical Community College where she earned her degree as a Administrative Assistant. She moved to Fayetteville, NC where she met and married the love of her life Willie T. Hardy. She was employed in sales for the Capital Department Stores, and Kelly Springfield Tire Company in Fayetteville, NC. After moving to Greensboro, NC; she was employed for Kmart and TJ Maxx. In 2006 she received her certification as a nail technician where she worked in two hair styling businesses in Greensboro, NC
Brenda had the biggest and brightest smile one could ever imagine. She loved to bake in her spare time for her family, co-workers and friends. She cared for the needs of others before her own, and genuinely reached out to those who sought advice and friendship.
She leaves to cherish her memory her longtime companion, Willie Thomas Hardy and her two children, Anthony Jorrell Hardy and Kristina Michelle Hardy. Her mother, Pandora Ward of Wilson, North Carolina. Two sisters, Linda Woodard of Augusta, Georgia, and Calpurina Hill of Atlanta, Georgia. Two brothers, Eugene Foster of Seattle, Washington; and Walter Foster of Seattle, Washington, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
