Bobby Jean Phillips Pryor, 87, made her journey to heaven on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at the Hospice Home @ High Point with her family by her side.
Bobby Jean was born in Randolph County, March 10, 1936, a daughter of the late Robert and Geneva Phillips. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Owen Pryor, Sr. Bobby Jean was a member of First United Methodist Church and never missed an opportunity to have fellowship with friends. She most enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren, and was beloved by anyone who met her.
She had a deep affection for animals, especially her dogs, Monkey and Peanut.
Surviving are a daughter, Lillian Stutts of Zebulon, a son Donnie Pryor of the home; a sister, Lorraine Burgess of Greensboro; a brother, Robert L. Phillips, Jr. of Morehead City; three grandchildren, Joshua Stutts (Heather) of Apex, Jeremy Stutts (Cameron) of Zebulon and Brandi Crowder of Zebulon; six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Bobby Jean will be deeply missed by all.
A Celebration of Bobby Jean's life will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont.
