Billie Nora Evans Harlin

Billie Nora Evans Harlin, 92, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2015, at Piedmont Crossing in Thomasville, NC. Billie was born January 19, 1923, the daughter of William Wesley and Emily Bell Evans in Thomasville, NC.

She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church of High Point and the Martha Circle. She loved flowers and was a member of the Burbank Garden Club in High Point. Billie enjoyed crossword puzzles, needlework, reading and music.

Billie was predeceased by her husband, John R. Harlin, Sr.; a daughter, Beverly Harlin Lang; her parents; as well as four brothers and one sister.

Survivors include one son, John R. Harlin, Jr. (Betsy) of East Sandwich, MA; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and all were very special to her.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 19, at Sechrest Funeral Service Chapel in High Point. Family will receive friends on Sunday, October 18, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
