Alvin Eugene Haney, age 74, unexpectedly went to be with his Lord on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at his home with his family by his side.
Alvin was born in Marion, NC, December 12, 1950, a son of the late Niram and Mary Johnson Haney. He was a master carpenter and a jack of all trades. Alvin was a loving husband and father, an accomplished practical joker, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his wife of thirty-five years, Esther Whittington; three sons, Alvin Eugene Haney II and his wife Grace and Niram Bruce Haney and his fiance Tawanna Clinton and Johnny Lee Kearns.
At Alvin's request, no services will be held.
