Mrs. Alice Faye (Bartley) Mashburn Spivey

Mrs. Alice Faye Bartley Mashburn Spivey, age 79, of High Point, North Carolina went home to her Heavenly Father on Friday, January 26, 2024. She was born in Low Gap, NC on September 4, 1944 to James Isom Bartley and Ennis Todd Bartley.

Alice enjoyed cooking and baking for others. She loved spending time with family and friends, fellowshipping and witnessing for the Lord. Crocheting and making gifts for loved ones gave her joy. She was a member of Cloverdale Baptist Church and a former member at Full Gospel Miracle Ministries and Jesus Way House of Prayer.

She is survived by her husband, Johnnie Spivey, Sr. of the home, sons, Onnie Smith, Johnnie Spivey, Jr. (Loren), Frankie Mashburn; daughters Elaine Shepherd (Steven), Angela Milan (Jimmy), Pam Spivey, Renee Hogue (Gary), Sha Herring (Junior); brother John Bartley and sister Ruby Broadway; grandchildren Preston Smith and many additional grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Pastor Ulysses Mashburn; two sons, Cecil and Ronnie Bill Hamm; brothers, Elmer, Eleck, Calvin, Clifford, James and Ronnie; sisters, Betty, Jean and Paulette.

A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Sechrest-Davis Funerals & Cremations of High Point, 976 Phillips Avenue, High Point, NC 27262 on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 2:00 PM with Pastors David Edwards and Stan Savage officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Garden Memorial Park in High Point.

The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
