Joseph P. Kennedy, 85, of Hicksville, NY, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024. Beloved husband of 64 years to Margaret, he was a devoted father to Laura and Glenn. Cherished grandfather to 7 grandchildren, and a loving great-grandfather to 3 great-grandchildren, who he brought joy and wonder to their young lives.
Joseph will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family and his remarkable talent as a skilled workman always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Beyond his practical skills, Joseph possessed a warm and generous heart. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A visitation for Joseph will be held Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, 125 W Old Country Road, Hicksville, NY 11801. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 9:45 AM at Holy Family Church, 17 Fordham Ave, Hicksville, NY 11801. A committal service will follow at St. Charles / Resurrection Cemeteries, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735.
