I worked with Jose on a construction job in Canarsie for 3 years a couple years ago..  We were good friends on the site, me the City inspector and him with National Grid. When he left on disability we still wished each other Merry Christmas via text, he even came to the site to visit the crews. I’ll always remember his friendship and sense of humor. My deepest condolences to his wife and family. 
He was a great guy.

Jose was more than just a friend, he was family. His love for all was so incredible. He always greeted you with such a hug and such grace. Always walked away with the words God Bless You. I never called him Chino and he would always tease me to try and get me to say Chino and I would never. That smile and laugh that just bought everyone together. 
He always checked on my Brother before he passed and that rock he holds that say God Bless you was given to him by my brother. The love they had was incredible. 
Now they are together, watch out Heaven it’s going to be some party. 
I am going to miss that smile , the jokes and the sarcasm but I know your in goods hands my brother . Rest easy always in my heart till we meet again. 




Dear Gabriela, Jocelyn, and Family,
Words can’t possibly express the deep sorrow we feel for your family over the  loss of Jose. He was such an amazing man. He left an imprint in our families lives with his great stories and jokes. He took our girls under his wing and showed them love, made them laugh, made them feel special.
