Born on July 12th, 1938 in Springfield Gardens, New York to the late Sante and Inez Paci, Jerry was the youngest of their 6 children. He was predeceased by his siblings, Nellie (Jack), Louis, George, Mary, and Sammy (Anne).
Jerry is survived by the love of his life, Arlene Martha (neé Warrelman), whom he met while attending Woodrow Wilson High School. They were married in November of 1957 and spent 66 beautiful years together. They had 2 children, Lynn Elizabeth Koerick and Christopher Paul Paci (Diane). Jerry worked as a New York City Police Officer, retiring after 22 years of active service. He was an avid lover of animals, and his horses and dogs meant the world to him. A man of many talents, Jerry was an incredible carpenter, always tinkering, building furniture, and remodeling houses in his spare time. He had a passion for automotives and loved building custom cars.
Jerry and Arlene loved to travel; taking many cruises, road trips, and vacations across the country. When he had the chance, he loved surf casting and fishing from the west end piers of Jones Beach with his son. He was passionate about his grandchildren and a dedicated grandfather, spending many hours with them, passing on life lessons and wisdom. A hardworking man, Jerry’s life's greatest achievement was the family he and Arlene built together.
