Bill was born December 29, 1933 and was the son of the late William E. Marlow Sr. and Estelle Link Marlow. He was a long time member of the Newton Lions Club and First United Methodist Church in Hickory.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Wanda Marlow.
He is survived by his daughter, Melanie Marlow; brother, Neil Marlow and wife Beverly; half-brother, Jeff Duncan; sister-in-law, Hilda Isenhour; nephews, Link Marlow and wife Karin, Jimmy Travis; niece, Kathryn Marlow.
Celebration of Life service will be held at First United Methodist Church Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 1pm with Reverend Paul Christy and Reverend Jennifer Forrester to officiate.
